How to control squirrel that make a nest on the attic?

Do the moth ball thing that Corky R suggested, then see if you can find out how they were getting in and cover the hole. Our squirrels and birds were coming in through the vents on the ends of the house and we covered them with hardware cloth and it fixed our problem. Squirrels can be pretty destructive, so you need to do the mothball thing as soon as you can.How to control squirrel that make a nest on the attic?
Had similar problem some time back. I think the best way is to look around and block off whatever access holes there may be. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, block off access if there are babies inside. If you do, the squirrel will literally tear the siding off of your house to get in!! Tried mothballs, almost drove my wife out of the house. Been there, done that. How to control squirrel that make a nest on the attic?
If you have fairly easy access to the attic, make a couple of sacks out of cheescloth, fill them with moth balls, tie the ends up and throw them around in different areas of the attic. Squirrels really don't like the smell and will leave, and not come back.
I had the same problem, I tried everything humanly and they came back , finally I got a cat and they left. Cant explain it. But check local shelters or link below.
