If you move a baby flying squirrel's nest will the mother abandon them?

found a flying squirrel's nest in deer stand %26amp; need to move it help!!If you move a baby flying squirrel's nest will the mother abandon them?
Baby Squirrels are generally born 2 times a year, April/May and Aug/Sept, babies leave the nest between 12-14 weeks of age. It may not be wise to move the nest because the mother may abandon them due to stress (not necessarily the smell, babies have been reintroduced after human handling without problem) If the babies are molting they are likely nearing adolescence, at which time they usually leave the nest anyway, so I guess it's your call.If you move a baby flying squirrel's nest will the mother abandon them?
Yes, there will be a human smell to the nest that you move and the mother will leave the nest and babies behind.

Mothers of baby animals are very in tune to what or who may have touched the nesting place of their young. If in any way they suspect something out of the ordinary they will indeed abandon the nest. I take care of abandoned and wildlife left behind.
yea the mom will abanded the babys
